legalized Firstly, I know its pretty late to say this, but, I wanna thank everyone who wished me during my birthday. no matter if its in person, msn, sms, facebook, or through phone calls. really had a great birthday. but because its the exam season, everyone's busy with their exams, therefore will be having some belated celebrations after everyone is done exams. and I"M FINALLY LEGALIZED. lol. actually there isn't any difference turning 18. yesterday, went out with some college mates for a so called belated birthday celebration for me. but it ended up just being a normal outing, because, some of them ffk-ed in the last minute. :S we went anyway despite the fact that there's only the 3 of us. it turned out to be an awesome day spent with them. thanks to Joseph and Ephraem. thats what friends are for. :) we did loads of stuff, loads of fun. and, we watched Poker King, a great way to end the outing. we were actually thinking of watching a second movie, but Ephraem has to go back. so there's where we ended.  8.5/10 it's a 2-hour movie. but its a great movie! its a must-watch. its a bit different from the rest of the typical canto gambling movie. there SOTONG! there's the post. haha. :P will update a little bit more when I have the time. can't blame me for not having enough time, its the ISU season. the nightmare of all ICPU students. it'll be another busy week coming up. sigh, I think I'm already use to it. but looking at the bright side. there'll be 1 whole month of holiday after that. :) p/s good luck to the people who're having exams. newbie. Okay, I'm so exited right now. :D I'm getting my car tomorrow. although its just a secondhand Gen2, its good enough for a newbie driver like me.  will start to drive to school soon, that means I have to wake up SUPER early even if my classes start at 10.30 to find parking. as you guys know how the surroundings around Taylor's is. its extremely hard to find parking, especially after 10. there goes my sleeping time. :S carpool anyone? :P anyways, enough talking about the car. last Friday was the last holiday for us until the end of the year. and that means our finals are coming out as well. its gonna be a hectic week ahead. it scares me even just to think about it. english ISU first draft, data management project, and a chem unit test. and all of it is on the same day. fml. vibrant colors. Loads of stuff to blog about, but my urge to blog keeps going up and down. :S anyways, today was the subject registration day for the ICPU students. this is a part where you can't fool around in your life. one mistake ruins your whole life. so this morning, me and my parents went to Monash to ask their entry requirements for their Medical course, just to be safe. :P the first things the person told us was, "you need to have excellent result for your chemistry to get in". I've already expected that. but the thing I didn't expect was, all the math subjects also counts as a science subject. so that means there's no need for me to take the 3 basic science subjects anymore. :D these are the subjects I'm taking next semester after talking to the lecturers. Biology Economics Business Leadership LAN (Malaysian Studies) during data management class, we were playing some probability game with dices. after finishing the game, we saw a whole bag full of dices. and we took them, for photos...:)      haven't seen so many weird shaped dices before. isn't it awesome? bought 2 tees after class from the carnival. and since I bought coupons from XP, I need so spend it all. so me and bee walked around to find ways to spend it, in a rush. ended up buying drinks. then rushed to find JV and his friends in Starbucks, needed a ride back with them. met some new people there. :) such a tiring day. :S alright, that's all for today. ciao. cocktails. You might think Chemistry is a boring and touch subject, but if you we're with this bunch of people, it'll never be boring, especially during the labs. we were actually doing an acid and base experiment today, where we have to boil red cabbages to get the color as the indicator. then we have to put in solutions to determine whether if it is acid or base. but after doing all of those, we did this..  mixing the solutions together.  Joseph's hand..  the best of all.  cabbage soup anyone?  ahh..  le cocktail. :)  the creator of the cocktail. then after that, we did this.. we seriously have nothing better to do than this.  taking photos of phones with phone.  arranging.. photobooth madness. Phew.. the week is finally over. OVER! :D it was the busiest week in college so far. and who says ICPU is a relaxing course? everything was scheduled on the same week. data story project, the final draft of the data ISU, the presentation for that, English film review, and CHEM UNIT TEST! :S why must chem be so hard? why? I mean come on, its just the first week back from the Raya break.. and most of us are still on vacation mode. we need time to switch back to study mode. :P basically for the data project, me, Bee, Michelle and Yuvin are in the same group and we meet up EVERY break-time to finish everything up. and trust me, lunchtimes+work is not a good combination, we'll end up eat and talk, and spare only the last few minutes to work on those stuff. okay, enough whining for now. its photo time.. :) during the Raya break, we met up to so called "work" on our project. but it ended up...                               in conclusion, we are a bunch of POSERS. ;D sorry if it made you feel sick. :P but.. if you think this is not enough for you, there are more on Facebook. that's all for today, more photos will be up soon. *fingers crossed* bye. p/s Happy Birthday Alex! :) Labels: college life Wednesday, September 16, 2009 @ 7:22 PM
getaway. Its time for all the ICPU students to chill, and find a getaway from the normal hectic assignments. so, we decided to go for a vacation.. in college. :P *boards plane* there we are, the Taylor's Main Campus.  lost?  is it cold up there?  the photog.       the asian/tourisy pose.  models. :P  a bunch of tourist studying.  winter + summer?  shades.  woot?   us and Mr. Chai.    emo much?  :) overall, it was an amazing trip. :P had loads of fun taking loads of photos. and there are still more, we are all going back to work in the next post. no more holidays for us. p/s there are more photos up on Facebook. check them out. :) Labels: college Tuesday, September 15, 2009 @ 8:36 PM
the red devils. Its Dress-up Week this week! :) and the theme for yesterday was, Favorite Sports Team. and nonetheless, the first thing that came into my mind was. MANCHESTER UNITED! but seriously, more people should start to dress up, and there were only me (I think) wearing a Man U jersey. and the rest was.. Liverpool... boo!  Michelle, me and Bee.  XD  not-ready shot.  us.  posers.  me: Man U is so much better than Liverpool. *laughs*  there's no point covering it up Vims. party planners. Dear blog, I'm sorry, I've been neglecting you for something else. college life is not easy at all. for those people like Celetia who can't wait to go to college. just bare in mind enjoy your high school life to the fullest and high school is still the best part of schooling. :) this week is dress up week, but I'll update about that in the next post. so, this post is gonna be about Ning's belated surprise birthday lunch, which was last week. it was a really last minute thing, but we managed to come up with something. we can be professional party planners. anyone? :P  phones for sale?  couple 1.  the cake.  us. :)    couple 2.  couple 3? wtf :P    the gangsters. few of us went to Ning's house after the lunch to prepare for the surprise, the climax, while the rest went for pool. this is what we did.  the gigantic birthday card full of our wishes + candies + chocs  the balloon.   sweet legal 18.  then we went back home. XL decided to become the photographer, but look at the photos, not professional at all. :P   thanks Wern for the ride home. :D haven't been going out with this whole bunch for quite sometime, had a great time being with them. thats all for now, not sleeping early since class starts at 1pm tomorrow. :) p/s Vacation Day tomorrow, still thinking of what to wear. *wonders* p/s/s here's the update Rifen.
