Firstly, I know its pretty late to say this, but, I wanna thank everyone who wished me during my birthday. no matter if its in person, msn, sms, facebook, or through phone calls. really had a great birthday.

but because its the exam season, everyone's busy with their exams, therefore will be having some belated celebrations after everyone is done exams. and I"M FINALLY LEGALIZED. lol. actually there isn't any difference turning 18.

yesterday, went out with some college mates for a so called belated birthday celebration for me. but it ended up just being a normal outing, because, some of them ffk-ed in the last minute. :S

we went anyway despite the fact that there's only the 3 of us. it turned out to be an awesome day spent with them. thanks to Joseph and Ephraem. thats what friends are for. :)

we did loads of stuff, loads of fun. and, we watched Poker King, a great way to end the outing. we were actually thinking of watching a second movie, but Ephraem has to go back. so there's where we ended.

it's a 2-hour movie. but its a great movie! its a must-watch. its a bit different from the rest of the typical canto gambling movie.

will update a little bit more when I have the time. can't blame me for not having enough time, its the ISU season. the nightmare of all ICPU students.

it'll be another busy week coming up. sigh, I think I'm already use to it.

but looking at the bright side. there'll be 1 whole month of holiday after that. :)

Okay, I'm so exited right now. :D

I'm getting my car tomorrow. although its just a secondhand Gen2, its good enough for a newbie driver like me.

will start to drive to school soon, that means I have to wake up SUPER early even if my classes start at 10.30 to find parking. as you guys know how the surroundings around Taylor's is. its extremely hard to find parking, especially after 10. there goes my sleeping time. :S

carpool anyone? :P

anyways, enough talking about the car. last Friday was the last holiday for us until the end of the year. and that means our finals are coming out as well.

its gonna be a hectic week ahead. it scares me even just to think about it. english ISU first draft, data management project, and a chem unit test. and all of it is on the same day. fml.

I have to stress it again, ICPU is not easy. seriously.

Loads of stuff to blog about, but my urge to blog keeps going up and down. :S

anyways, today was the subject registration day for the ICPU students. this is a part where you can't fool around in your life. one mistake ruins your whole life.

so this morning, me and my parents went to Monash to ask their entry requirements for their Medical course, just to be safe. :P

the first things the person told us was, "you need to have excellent result for your chemistry to get in". I've already expected that.

but the thing I didn't expect was, all the math subjects also counts as a science subject. so that means there's no need for me to take the 3 basic science subjects anymore. :D

during data management class, we were playing some probability game with dices. after finishing the game, we saw a whole bag full of dices. and we took them, for photos...:)

haven't seen so many weird shaped dices before. isn't it awesome?

bought 2 tees after class from the carnival. and since I bought coupons from XP, I need so spend it all. so me and bee walked around to find ways to spend it, in a rush. ended up buying drinks.

then rushed to find JV and his friends in Starbucks, needed a ride back with them. met some new people there. :)

such a tiring day. :S

You might think Chemistry is a boring and touch subject, but if you we're with this bunch of people, it'll never be boring, especially during the labs.

we were actually doing an acid and base experiment today, where we have to boil red cabbages to get the color as the indicator.

then we have to put in solutions to determine whether if it is acid or base. but after doing all of those, we did this..

Phew.. the week is finally over. OVER! :D

it was the busiest week in college so far. and who says ICPU is a relaxing course?

everything was scheduled on the same week. data story project, the final draft of the data ISU, the presentation for that, English film review, and CHEM UNIT TEST! :S

why must chem be so hard? why?

I mean come on, its just the first week back from the Raya break.. and most of us are still on vacation mode. we need time to switch back to study mode. :P

basically for the data project, me, Bee, Michelle and Yuvin are in the same group and we meet up EVERY break-time to finish everything up. and trust me, lunchtimes+work is not a good combination, we'll end up eat and talk, and spare only the last few minutes to work on those stuff.

okay, enough whining for now. its photo time.. :)

during the Raya break, we met up to so called "work" on our project. but it ended up...

in conclusion, we are a bunch of POSERS. ;D

Dear blog,

I'm sorry, I've been neglecting you for something else. college life is not easy at all. for those people like Celetia who can't wait to go to college. just bare in mind enjoy your high school life to the fullest and high school is still the best part of schooling. :)

finally the break that all of us are looking forward to. its finally here! :)

but..ASSIGNMENTS! things that have to get done during the break. 2 english essays, and some data management stuff.

anyways, met up with Amelia and Max today to talk about some e-learning stuff. and that got me interested. its a totally new thing to Malaysia, as they are "SO UPDATED". :P will have to understand more about it though.

then went for a haircut..

we were actually gonna have a primary gathering yesterday night, but didn't happen at the end. :S

yes, tests again. its the last day of college tomorrow, and we are still suffering? :S

what is this? we should be happy and exited by now, about what are gonna do for the 1 week break.

but now, instead of that, we're stressing out here. having 2 tests tomorrow, english and data management and a chem lab report due. all on the same day.

and this is how Michelle responded on having so many tests on the same day, "I'll buy a MC for tomorrow"

maybe we should all do that? :P

Apologies for the lack of updates.

anyways, I'm happy. :D really happy. wanna know why? lol

I PASSED MY CHEM, and the score was pretty impressive, at least to me. being a total newbie to the subject, its good enough to get that type of score.

was thinking of giving up at one point, thinking about why am I so useless. and being all stressed out over it. but looking back, if I gave up, I would've crushed my own dreams.

in conclusion, giving up is not really an option, just try to find a way to nail it. and I did it at the end. :) and thanks to those people who gave me advise, and telling me not to give up.

FIRST OF ALL, I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST! :D I'M HAPPY.

I can't wait to get a car to drive around.

so this morning, woke up at 6, so friggin early. :S well anyways, waited till my instructor to come, and waited for him to pick up some other few students. reached the place at about 8.30 ish. the test starts at 9.

when the time approaches 9, wham, the rain starts to pour...:S

but my number was 58, so I have quite some waiting to do before it gets to my turn.

as I was sitting there, seeing people passing and not to mention people failing. seeing their cars slowly slide down the slope, and yes, its funny seeing that, but its so bad to laugh, what if you're the one failing that? :S

anyways, its such a bad timing to rain, why does it have to rain? why? why?

however, it stopped when it was about my turn. :D

I was so nervous as I was waiting for my turn. thinking that I'm gonna waste another 200 bucks just to retake the test and its a total waste of time.

so, it was my turn. and I went up the slope, did everything my instructor told me. the balancing and everything. and I went over. :D

it was such a relief, because that's where most people fail. after the slope, it was just parking and 3-point-turn. which are both easy. :)

then it was the section where you have to go on the actual road. and then it started to rain again. gad. but I still have to drive. the tester had no expression on his face. wtf. anyways, whatever, I just wanna pass my test. its went so much better than I expected and it was raining. :D

I'm gonna get my license in less than a week. nice...

It had been a really hectic week last week. with presentations and quizzes. and I shouldn't be here updating anyways, I have an English essay due tomorrow. :S

SIGH...why must Chemistry be so hard?

and yeah, I just had my Chem test today. it was a total disaster. but I did try my best though. and thats what counts. :)

my very first time taking Chem. and it gives me such a bad impression on it. and I have to face it everyday for the whole semester. please note, its every single day. but all I can do it face it, and tackle it. :P

so the test was in a hall, which makes it worse, before the test, tension starts to rise.

I was like "how do I get the electronic configuration for this?" "how do I do this, how do I do that?" thats what I call pre-exam tension syndrome. haha.

and all thanks to Yuvin and Zara, willing to answer and explain all my questions.

anyways, I don't wanna talk about the test anymore.

tomorrow we'll have shorter class time all because of the crime prevention workshop, I think its just 1 hour though, but the other city survival workshop for girls, its like 3-4 hours I think.

well, they have to protect themselves more than we guys. haha.

hopefully its gonna be a nice and easy day tomorrow. :)

Another week flew just like that. no more nice and easy in college, lecturers are starting to give out assignments and homework. quizzes and tests are coming up one by one. just had a quiz on math last Thursday. but I was kinda satisfied with the result, 98%. :D

but I don't think I can get away with such high score with the Chem test coming up this Thursday. :S its only the 3rd week of college, and the lecturer had already finished unit one. thus, the Chem unit test.

and for us freshman, we have to attend workshops after classes. so far, I've been to:

Listening Skills - boringgg...

Transitioning to College Life - had a really open minded speaker, he talked about teenage issues, from sex to crime prevention.

Time Management - same speaker from the previous one. but not as interesting as the previous one though. the main thing I've learnt was NO PROCRASTINATION! *coughs* Celetia *coughs* to us, I think its hard not to procrastinate.

got something out of the workshops, so its helpful, I think.

starting college

Okay, the first week of college. it was alright.

met a few nice people, made friends. there's quite a number of international people, as in foreigners taking this course.

I only have 3 subjects to take this semester, English Lit, Chemistry and Math for Data Management. the same thing everyday. and no more waking up early for me, all my classes start at 10.30. :D

and gad, Chemistry. on the first day, the lecturer was absent, so he gave us a worksheet to work on, . and I have no idea what those questions are, while everyone else is writing their answers furiously. I have no basics in Chem at all, and the rest of the class did, so, a lot of catching up to do for me. boo!

went to a few nice places for lunch (with friends of course), and hope to explore better places to eat there. people, recommend!

this week was basically a whole load of orientation, not a lot of learning. so it's still relaxing.

so yeah, thats the first week of my college life. :D

farewell for goofy

Last Saturday, it was Zufar's farewell. he's leaving to Melb. why must people leave? why? I've already had a lot of farewells for the past few weeks.

we were planning to watch Transformers, but the line was effing long, and it was only like 11 in the morning. :S met quite a few familiar faces in the cinema though. so we decided not to waste our time in the line, and just have lunch and chill together instead.

XL said Zufar wants to have cake smashed on his face. so we headed to Secret Recipe to get cakes. XL insisted us to buy a whole cake for him, but me and XP said no, because the cake kinda big. and we're not being cheapskates k? so we ended up buying him a slice of chocolate mud cake and a slice of chocolate banana.

then it was lunch.

XP aka Goldfish's finger. wait, I thought goldfish don't have fingers? :P

XL was talking about her ancestors, somehow her great^5 grandfather was Hitler. They moved to China after marrying with the grandmother. Then they hate Mao taking control of everything in China, so they ended up moving to Malaysia. wtf. haha.

and yeah, I get a new name, Jerry. my good friend Zufar aka Goofy gave it to me. rofl.

after lunch, we went shopping, because I have to buy all the back-to-school stuff. But we ended up doing classy stuff. they were getting my to try on girl's stuff, like handbags, clothes, and lingerie. gad...:S

the poor lady in the poster, her face was ripped off.

nice eh?

after that, they decided to come up to my hotel room to eat up the cakes. and XL was molesting my Mac. wtf. :P

it was fun hanging out with this bunch of people. loads of laughter. and it was nice teasing both XP and XL. :) that was all we did last Saturday. and that's all for now.

a new start

Finally, the time I've been waiting for...college...a new chapter of life.

not an international student anymore. but now its better, a college student. :D

had mixed feelings on the way to college today, and with a few questions in my head...

how are the people like? are they friendly? what's my schedule gonna be? how are the teachers? and so many more.

went to the multipurpose hall after arriving. and there were heaps and heaps of people there. and everyone looks like they've already got a friend or two they know. but i'm the only one sitting there.

met a few friends after getting all the documents. since we have to fill up some ice breaking form. like what's their name, hobby, and where are they from...

and surprisingly, there are a lot of international students, like people from africa, korea, sudan, china, and of course malaysia. :P

and right after that, its all briefing, about the campus,the course, where our classrooms are, the library, extra-curricular activities they're offering...

that's basically the first day.

hope it'll be better tomorrow, because class is starting tomorrow. :D

Ahhh..FINALLY! had a chance to update. know why? the China government blocked blogspot again. with its firewall, because their being paranoid about people talking bad things about them. sigh.

but now, I'm back in Malaysia. permanently and just arrived this afternoon. so, will update as soon as possible, since its summer now. :D and Malaysia is not that paranoid to block this site.

its nice to be back in Malaysia, own home...but it's still the same.

that's the only word I can use to describe everything that had happened. its just so crazy. it seems like we're in a movie, everything is just SO dramatic.

well, I guess this is what high school's like.

you wouldn't really believe in until you've really experienced it. but a piece of advise, its not an experience that you would wanna have. trust me. :)

we just wished it never actually happen. because it is just a little too over the top.

Firstly, Happy Mothers Day to all the mom's out there, and of course to my own mom as well. :D

so, been busy with school as usual, and its getting worse for the next few weeks. why?

lets see...internal assessments, TOK essay, end of semester exams, International Day, Spring Carnival, Graduation, Prom, BISSMUN, coming up within the next few weeks. :S

and not to forget packing up, have LOADS of stuff to pack before we move back.

but after all of this, its SUMMER! but it seems so far away though.

This will be just a short update on what I've basically done this week.

well, it has been a hectic and frustrating week, finding schools/colleges.

went to check out at least 4-5 international schools/college to see which one suits me better.

after taking a deep thought on should I continue with IB in Sri KDU or just go straight to college.

but finally, I've chosen the Taylor's college, I'll be doing the ICPU course this July. :D

its a hard decision to make, but I've managed to do it.

kinda looking forward to college life, and also what classmates and lecturers I'll have.

oh, and I got my MACBOOK! exited much. :D

but I'm missing Lee Hom's concert tomorrow. :S

Its has been a really weird week. it was all fine until Thursday, when we were told that we we are moving back to Malaysia instead of Singapore.

yeah, I am moving back to Malaysia guys. this summer.

first I got all exited about it, since I can drive, be in college instead of high school, meeting my old bff's anytime I want, and eating all the Malaysian food that I miss so much, but after knowing that I have to choose immediately what am I going to study in college, everything starts to get confusing.

what am I going to be when I grow up? what are my interests? what am I going to be majoring in university?

I believe these are the questions that every teenager will get frustrated about. this is a really important stage of our life's, but however, if we decide on what we are going to do now, will we be stuck with it for the rest of our life's?

I know we have to choose eventually though, but is this the right time? maybe it is.

so, my parents have decided to cancel their trip to San Francisco, just because to take us back to Malaysia to look for schools/colleges. and we'll be leaving tomorrow. YES, TOMORROW. because we don't wanna miss the dates of intake for colleges.

everything is going too fast, have loads of things to decide. which course should I take? which college should I go to? should I continue my current course? or should I start all over again? i need time to breathe, too many questions I have to answer. these are really important questions, can good decisions be made in this hectic situation? I hope so.

anyways, well be seeing some of you guys soon. maybe you guys can give me some helpful suggestions? :P

you loyal readers might wonder what I did during the Spring Break, busy till no time to even update. well, I went to HangZhou. :D

it was a nice place, at least better than Beijing. wait till you see the photos I took, haha. (it takes forever to upload)

I can't say that they are great photos, but I think its good enough.

Spring is almost here. :D

but its still so effing cold.

and as always, still busy with school. I bet you guys are bored of me whining on how busy my school life is. so I think I'll cut that down. :S

all of this hectic school life is ending in less than a weeks time. but its just only for more than a week. well, its better than nothing right?

Rev. Fest

Rev. Fest happened last week, bands from different international schools came to perform. it was another successful event, with the great venue, amazing bands, and awesome audience. and the organizer, the Action Youth Group, which is us, organized all of this. heh. :D

and we earned over 5000RMB, which is about 2500 bucks in RM. all the money earned will be donated to China's HIV group.

Happy 18th Birthday Celetia!

wow, you're 18 already! while a lot of people in our grade are still not. you're now an adult and you can legally drink. :D anyways, its great to have a friend like you, although sometime you're a wee bit annoying. with your oh-so-random thoughts or when everyone is so focused on something, you'll suddenly burst out a laugh or giggle from nowhere. but you'll still a good friend, you're the person to go to when I have problems.

and I still owe you a present, remind me about that alright?

so, last Saturday's outing for Celetia's pre-celebration. we went to the place where they sell the best burgers. and also a karaoke session after that.

BISS Idol 5 was awesome! with all the great performances, audience and everything. :D

all the acts were great! but unfortunately not all the acts can win the cash prize.

the best event yet this year that the student council had organized. we're improving. the next grand event is coming up soon, PROM. :D and I believe it will be another success.

my blog has been dead AGAIN, due to the hectic life of mine in school. with group 4 project going on the week before.

but everything's been going back to normal last week, with less homework and more time to sleep. :D

so why didn't I blog? because I'm busy being a procrastinator.

I've been blog hopping lately, but there's a huge amount of blogger's not updating their blogs as well.

everyone's being busy with their own life's. homework, college, NS, etc.

It snowed today, heavily. :D

this is the first time snowing this year. wasn't expecting it will snow this time of the year.

the weird thing is, its spring now, why is it still snowing?

and another weird thing, the snow melts so fast, maybe its just another artificial snow/rain.

it's still snowing again, i mean now! and tomorrow too I think. if the weather forecast is accurate.

This post is going to be a CNY post. Finally have time to sit down and write about it.

so, we flew back to Penang for CNY, but not KL. :S

according to Wen, "you come back equals not coming back", because i didn't went back to meet up with all of them. but at least i am back in Malaysia right?

Chinese New Year is almost over. Hearing fireworks non-stop here, and its still on going.

everything will be back to normal after tonight, no more fireworks, no more ang paos, no more CNY cookies and food, no more gambling, etc. and that means going school. :S

Just got back from Malaysia yesterday. Back to the cold. :S

I've been missing school for 3 whole days already, and unexpectedly, there were not much work to catch up on. but a lot of other things to catch up on.

and oh, Valentines is coming up real soon. and as usual, Student Council is organizing a dance.

being a member of the committee, I was supposed to help organize all the things for the dance. but I didn't help as much as they wanted me to, instead, I was in Malaysia having fun. sorry guys, I wasn't here to help out for the last minute stuff. :(

the dance will start at 7 tomorrow, and everyone need to be dressed semi-formally. and all the money earned will go to charity. :D

Finally back home, Malaysia. Home sweet home. :D

miss everything here, the warm weather, the nice food, and also the friends.

the CNY atmosphere is so much better here than Beijing, you might think that there are more decorations there, then you're wrong.

thats what I thought before I went there, but such a big disspointment when it was CNY.

except, they sell those fire crakers legally. They have stores for it. and there are HUGE ones as well.

the Christmas deco was still on before I came back, and I think they will still be on when the time I'm back. they are Westernised. lol.

And oh, the CNY performance that I mentioned before, it was...can't even find a word to describe it. :S

the last day of school tomorrow. I was thinking of skipping school since there was nothing much left to do and its only half a day, and if I did go to school, I will have to be back early to prepare to go to the airport.

but, its the CNY week in our school, so there will be performance tomorrow, and since I am taking Chinese, I will have to perform.

so, I will have to go to school tomorrow and leave after I finish my performance.

and btw, its a dance. which I am not looking forward to. :(

the outing didn't work out sadly. Monique was busy with her stuff and Alex with his band practice.

and it ended up with only 3 of us going, so we might as well cancel it and do it another time.

exams out of the way

Finally, exams are all done, except for some unlucky people.

it feels so good after exams, no more stress, late night studying. and now i know how you SPM people feel. lol.

overall, the exams were okay, not extremely difficult. so good grades are expected, I think...

haven't been taking so many exams all at once for a long time. the last time I did as when I was back in Malaysia, where exams were all squeezed into a week, exams and more exams all day long. and that was like more than 2 years ago.

and I thought those times will never come back to me again, but it sadly did. :(

the life of being in grade 11 is not easy at all.

oh well, after all the hard work, and exams out of my way, its time to relax.

so, planning to hang out with Michael, Alex, Monique and Jess tomorrow, before going back to Malaysia the day after.

oh yeah, and another thing, my new phone!

Its exam week for us BISS peeps. :(

End of semester exam. so need to study our ass off for it. :S

A really crazy and busy week indeed. with exams on and assignments due.

but, we've survived so far, and its just a few more days to go peeps, we can do it! :D

5 exams down, 3 more to go, for me, that is.

everyone of us have different exam schedules, depending on what courses they take.

Anyways, after this, its CNY. and going back to Malaysia.

The year '08 is a mixture of good and bad memories, but I will wipe everything bad off my mind, only good memories will be mentioned in here, and this isn't all though, just can't blog about the whole year here with just one post. :D

And mind that some of it are not in chronological order...

sports day, was a blast this year (blue house won!) =D

then it was just boring school days with nothing happening, till the end of school year, June...

Student Council elections took place, and I got elected.

The party for old and new Student Council members.

Farewell for Mrs, Ross, the best teacher we've ever had. We miss you~

Then PROM! the first prom I went. enjoyable and also a night to remember. =)

Will our our own senior prom next year.

The trip to the Birds nest before the Olympic starts, had loads and loads of fun there, even though the games were boring, chit chats, cam whore-ed...

The international Youth Award trip, went hiking, got lost, one of the longest route we've hiked.

Summer, Karaoke session with a bunch of peeps. Will do this more next year. =)

Went home to Malaysia during summer. Wen came back form Australia as well. Met up with the gang, went back to school, and had tons of memories with them, good ones, bad ones, and will have more to come. they are the bunch of people that no other friends can ever replace. =)

Passed my undang, 43/50

Its not as high as i expected, but I am proud on myself, since my BM sucked and only one week to study for it.

and can't wait to finish the course and get my license.

Also, not to forget the Olympics and Paralympics, went to a few games. And also a first time experience going to the Olympics.

We also had the longerst summer vacation, because of the Olympics.

School re-opened, new surprise in school, iMacs!

Photobooth mania during classes. =)

Activity week in Inner-Mongolia, new experience living in bad conditions, dirty yurts, bad food, cold weather...

Student Council board elections, and got elected as the Treasurer!

Halloween dance took place, and as being a treasurer, I didn't expect its that hard doing the job...oh well, I still managed to do a good job. =D

Then, our MYP graduation ceremony, graduated from middle school and going on to high school.

THIMUN in Singapore, first time experience to go out a country without parents. Met up with old friends and get to know new ones as well.

Finally going back to somewhere near home, similar food, people and weather! I MISS MALAYSIA!!!

We talked about world issues and stuff and how are we going to solve it. and its a lot of fun. (i sound like a nerd) 8D

Last up, our choir performance, went to Sofitel and the Hilton to perform, sang wonderful songs and ate good food. =)

And not to forget, we performed at our own school as well, for several times. GREAT FUN!

Got a lot more chances to get involve in school's stuff.

Oh, how can I forget about NS, I got picked and is placed in the 3rd batch, but won't be going back to do it anyways, so yeah. =D

It will be a whole new start tomorrow, people going to colleges, NS, new places etc. So I hope that everything will be better, lets all hope for that. lol. A blessed new year.

So the trip to Harbin was quite interesting. Got the experience the extreme cold weather, the ice carvings, snow carvings, etc...

Didn't take much photos on day 3, was having food poisoning. :S

The local food there wasn't really good, and I'm not used to those food, so maybe, that's the cause of my food poisoning.

Had to go back early to the hotel since I'm not feeling really well during shopping, sigh!

Overall,it was a good trip. The ice carvings were great, as you can see. This is a whole new experience for us, with the COLD weather. 3 layers of clothes were still not enough when we're outdoors.We can still feel the freezing breeze, wtv!?

We've been friends since form 2 or 3, and been bff's ever since. Hanging out together, have group studying before exams etc. She is the one for me to go to when I have any problems or anything. She went to Aussie after I left. Which make us have less time to meet up. The next time we will be meeting will still be unknown. sigh. Next year? The year after? Since we are in different countries, its really hard to go back at the exact same time, and we have different holidays as well. :S

and Ms. Khor Xiang Ping

She is having her birthday in Beijing this year. And she is still here now, somewhere in Beijing, just don't really know where. She used up she cell phone credit a few days ago. But at least we got to meet up at least once.

Similar to Wen, met her since form 2 or 3, and yeah, you've guessed it, been bff;s ever since as well. lol. I still remember the times where we play o2jam and Maple together. (it seems kinda childish now) She got a new nickname the last trip I went back. "Goldfish". lol. Have been teasing her ever since. :D

Finally! The Winter Break has arrived!

Have been waiting for this for a very very long time. But now its here.

But at the same time, I hope that the break doesn't come that soon, because people will be leaving, permanently. sigh. I will miss you guys!

Do you guys agree to have uniforms or not?

Our school is having a survey, whether we need to have uniforms or not.

From my points of view, YES, I want uniforms, because we don't have to think of what to wear every single school day.

I am getting bored for not having uniforms, the last time I was wearing uniforms was in Malaysia, but that wasn't a really nice looking uniform.

A lot of people seems to have different opinions that I do. why, people, why? lol

I don't have to be jealous about the form 5-ers who had graduation anymore. :D

Its not as big as they have in Malaysia, because this is only a small graduation from middle school to high school. lol.

We're finished with MYP (Middle Years Program) and moving on to DP (Diploma Program) and well, as I said every time, its getting harder every year.

Happy Birthday Kong Min Hui!

Have known this perempuan since form 1. Had tons of fun together till form 3. Then people start to move here and there. She is one of them, which moved to Seafield.

And as Wen said, miss the time before. Canteen Day, Table Talk Gang, Group study, etc.

Used to make fun with your Fuzzy hair etc etc. lol. Will not write much here, since no one is gonna read it anyways, everyone is busy with SPM. lol.

Its really unfortunate to have your birthday as the start of a BIG major exam, SPM. :(

I know that sucks! But can't do anything with it right?

Today, went to BCIS for our very first TOK retreat. This school is soo much better than our school. They even have their own Gym, Theater and own soccer field, etc.

So, WAB, Dulwich College, BCIS and of course our school BISS are there. Its the first year they are combining all of the school together. WE are being the guinea pig. wtf.

Basically we are having sessions about the different ways of knowing. For 2 days, having this on my birthday is not I really wanted. sigh.

Oh well, at least I get to celebrate it with new people from different schools. :D

Will try to talk more about it tomorrow, after we finished the whole thing.

Here's my update, LIFEN. See, I am not a liar.

So, saw some of the photos people took in Prom, and all of them seems like they are having a great time.

That makes me think of what we did last year. Prom, the grandest event of the year. I'll still have to wait one year longer till its OUR Prom. The class of 2010.

But this year, we have the chance to plan out what to do for Prom, which is a fun part to do too.

One of the other BEST event Student Council presents is The Halloween Dance+Haunted House.

I know this photo is on my Friendster profile for a loooong time, I don't even bother to change it, its almost a year now. My Friendster is rotting...wtf!

Oh well, back to the topic, , that dance this year is not gonna be on the actual Halloween though, school's having loads of other things to do on that day.

So its going to be on the 7th of November. Which is 2 weeks from now.

We have loads of things to get done before that day.

Making it the best one yet, and also the SPOOKYYYYY one too.

Effing busy week next week. But that's gonna add up with my CAS hours.

I'm back, finally. Blog's being dead for about almost 2 weeks?

Just gonna be a short post, since I have nothing to do in class now.

Being busy lately with all the WORKLOAD, and yeah, I don't have that urge to update my blog. omg! I'm loosing my interest in blogging. :S

Having after school activities everyday, except Wednesdays, tutoring, school work and the worst thing yet, quarter exams are coming up too.

What we need now is more time, we wish that there are more than 24 hours a day. We don't even have enough time for sleep.

Oh well, I should stop whining about school now.

Haven't been updating lately. Loads of things have been going on in school. Math tests, after school activities, Student Council Executive Board elections, etc.

I am now the Treasurer for the Student Council Executive Board. But during the elections, I didn't really do a good job on the speech, was too nervous, I think.

And also, another thing to be proud of. I got chosen to represent our school for the Global Young Leader Conference, its in The States. Only me and Alan got chosen for it. And for what I know, only good and potential students get to go, that's why there are only 2 from our school. :D

Getting on, for being in an IB school, we have to fulfill one of the criteria, which is C.A.S. Which stands for Creativity, Action, Service. And we have to do 150 hours on that, if not, we don't get to graduate high school.

I will try to update how many hours I have done for every week. My target for this is more than 150 hours, 400-600 hours, maybe?

Currently, I only have 6 hours. But we only started this for like a week, its not bad for a start. =)

Still having a long way to go, but I still have almost 2 years to do it. So yeah, have to keep it up.

Argh! Mutton. We had same food for every meals, but luckily not the MUTTONS, we only get served twice. Heard that we got better food than last years grade 11.

As I said in my previous post, the best part of the trip was "Moon Walk". Lying down on the grassland, watching the stars,, shooting stars, we even saw the MILKY WAY. Saw Scorpio too. The whole sky is full of stars. Coolest thing in the trip. :D

But its a shame that can't take any photos of it. :( Need special lens and a tripod to take those photos.

Reached Beijing on Friday morning. Can't wait to get home after reaching school, but we still have to upload the photos we took for the teachers, get souvenirs from them, and a certificate.

Got a small yurt key chain from the teachers.

And everyone got a different certificate. The one I got was "The Best Horsemanship Award". The reason was I was leading in horse riding.

I wasn't going to be the first if the horse guy didn't pull my horse with him. The rest of them controlled their horse themselves, but the effing guy pulled my horse with him, that's why I am the first, and Do Gyeong too.

Inner Mongolia Parte 1

The trip to Inner Mongolia was better than I expected. I was expecting to eat mutton everyday, so I bought loads of cup noodles there. But we only had mutton for only 2 meals. So its kinda alright for me.

And one more thing, no shower. That is one of the thing all of us can't stand. Greasy hair, oily face, etc etc. But not much of body odor though, its so dry and cold there and e hardly sweat, even if we do, we had deodorants with us, we won't stink that bad.

I managed to get my hair washed, by using the sink. Went to the public toilet with Kevin, the water was FREEZING COLD. But we still have to do it. lol.

Took the train heading to Inner Mongolia on Sunday night. It wasn't a looooong ride from Beijing to Inner Mongolia. Approx 10 hours.

Well, we reached Inner Mongolia on Monday. Went for Breakfast then head to a temple.

Went for camel riding after lunch. Was looking forward for that and its a good experience. Its been 24 hours since we had shower. And adding the smell of camels. It sure smells nice.

We were complaining about why the teacher get a good yurt, aren't we supposed to be equal?

According to the teachers, their yurts wasn't that good as it seems. They said that they'd rather sleep on the floor.

They have a yurt which have beds, and toilets. But we don't have any of that. Plus, we have to go to the f**king public toilet.

There was nothing in our yurts, except dirty blankets, pillows. Thats all we have. sigh.

After putting our luggage's in our yurts, we went for a visit to a local Mongolian's house. They served us cheese and stuff. Then we went for a walk up the hill.

I"M BACK!!!

Got home yesterday, EXHAUSTED. Almost slept for the whole day.

And I freaking have DIARRHEA again. Its like a jinx, it happens to me in the last day of every Activity Week.

Well, except for that and a few other factors, its been a pretty fun trip. Its pollution-free there and the sky is really really clear. One of the best thing of the trip was "Moon Walk".

Its not the Michael Jackson dance move though, its walking on the Mongolian grassland and seeing stars at night. And there was shooting stars. Loads of them.

Activity Week is coming up!!!

To Inner Mongolia! Not really looking forward for it though. We were told that we're not gonna have shower for 3 days! wth!

We're gonna stink. :S

Living the the Mongolian tent and eating mutton everyday. Don't think that anyone can stand it, unless there are people who really LOVE mutton.

Having a one week holidays after the Activity Week, which is 2 weeks in total for holidays. Will have time to recover from the UNINTERESTING trip. lol.

In Business class now doing nothing, so decided to crap about something here. So yeah, being really boring now. Finished with the work. sigh.

Its the second time I went to the Birds Nest. I feel sorry for those disabled people. And agree with what Min said earlier, they ought to have more attention from the public.

It was packed with people inside. Appox 80,000 people inside. *gasp*

She broke the Paralympics record. Actually not just her, a few of them did too. And some of them even broke the Guinness World record.

FULL of people.

Didn't finish watching the whole thing. Its till 9 at night and we haven't ate our dinner yet, so left at about 6 or 7 something. So went to "Malacca Legend" for dinner.

And today, went out shopping with Michael and Alan. Bought a pair of shades, hoodie and a tie. But both of them bought A LOT more than me though. After shopping, went for a movie.

There are on seats left when we went there, only front seats left. And I'll never get the front seats again. It makes us so dizzy, and I almost puked after that. :S

I know its an old movie in Malaysia already, but its still new here, I dunno why. But still, I rate it 6/10. Its even better if it had a happy ending. Its kinda similar to "The Day After Tomorrow".

Had a good weekend and its gonna be a holiday tomorrow. But I still have LOADS of homework to deal with. damn!

The school was so generous to buy tickets for the whole school to go for the Paralympics.

Every alternate grade went to different games. And we got the most boring one. Archery.

We can't make cheer unlike other games. It will be silence throughout the whole game, except after the contestants shot.

The weather is so hot and there are no shade there. And its all free seating. Random people will start to walk around in front of you. And some of them stink.

There was one thing that made this trip worth it.

Which is, there was a mother breast feeding during the game. Her baby was crying while the shooter was trying to shoot, so she was worried that the shooter can't concentrate, so she just pulled up her clothes and stuffed her "thing" into the babies mouth. And the baby stopped crying. :S

Went back to school after that. Did nothing much. Had a Photobooth Mania in Design Tech class, since the teacher was not there, we had a chance to camwhore by using the iMac's.

Small small world

Took it yesterday during English class. :D

Anyway, just realized a few days ago that the world is small.

There was a new student from Malaysia in school ,Carmen. So went over to kinda socialize with her a bit,. Its been a long time since our school have students from Malaysia.

You will feel happy when you have a friend that came from the same country as you do.

Especially when you have the Koreans be the majority of your grade. Not being racist here, but being honest, some of the Koreans are really annoying, childish etc.

Well, back to the topic. So asked her what school does she go when she was in Malaysia, and she claimed that she was from Subang Utama.

And she know some of the people I know there. Shuen Bond, Xin Wei, etc. Creepy. Being more than 4000 km away and yeah. Feel kinda exited about that.

Maybe you guys won't have that kind of feeling, but I do. Its hard to put it in words. lol.

And one more that I realized about one year ago. Justin and LiFen went to the same primary school. If I'm not mistaken, they were studying in Johor during that time.

LiFen went back to Singapore after that, then came to Beijing after that.

What a small small world.

Its been such an effing BUSY week!

Homework, homework and MORE homework. Finally got a day with less homework and have time to post up something.

But as the teacher said, you say 11th grade's life is so busy, wait till you experience the life of the 12th graders. Its gonna be WORST!

The Math course is so so hard this year. And most of the Koreans in our class are good in Math, they are so fast, but not the rest of us.

And the teacher is not a really good teacher. He makes a lot of mistakes when he is solving some questions on the board, he even need the students to correct him.

Gonna need to get a Math tutor soon before its too late. Can't catch up with those in class.

But looking at the bright side, we're gonna have a long weekend this week, because of the Mooncake Festival coming up. Then Activity Week, then October Break, then trip to Singapore.

Although its only one day, its enough for all of us to rest. =S

The second one kinda makes all of us think. So we asked:

But basically, we don't need all of this. We WANT them. We can choose not to breathe and be dead, but we WANT to be alive, we don't need to. =S

And if you actually think of it, he is actually right.

The Beijing Paralympic is here. But don't think its that grand compared to the Olympics.

For you peeps who don't know what it is, its another kind of Olympics for disabled people. Don't think its noticed by most of the people, even here in Beijing.

Its also not advertised that much compared to the real Olympics.

Think that school is getting better, got into the mood of studying already. Gonna change some of the subjects I chose.

Gonna change Physics into Design Technology. Physics have loads of formulas and calculations, plus .

On the first day of Physics, he already gave us a all the formulas that we're gonna use throughout the year, and its pretty darn thick.

And not confident to score good grades for it. But its different with Design Technology. I enjoy that subject.

Need to change it really soon, before the teacher have gone too far.

Work having currently.

School just started for 2 days, and there are heaps of homework already.

Haven't done homework for a long time since the vacation started. And its just the starting and we get this much of work. sigh. Nothing I can do about it.

Starting of grade 11. Not as good as I expected. :(

Concerned about the work load we're gonna have throughout the whole year.

But from next week on, according to Alan, we can leave campus to get our lunches, because lunch in the cafeteria SUCKS. And the price have increased, but the size is smaller. We are old enough to go out. Its our privilege to go out. haha.

Our LOVELY school, have changed all the computers into iMac. How cool is that?

Maybe we are gonna get one for trying soon. The Macbooks.

The teacher get to try it out, every teacher were given a Macbook.

Get to use it during physics class, since we just started school, he let us have some free time to check out the new iMac.

Its so different from the normal computers. The mouse, keyboard, and there is no CPU. Cool huh?

Going to Activity Week in 3 weeks time! To Inner Mongolia.

What is it?
This is a school trip organized by the school every school year, inside of China though. We don't have to pay for anything (it's included in the school fees). Every grades go to different places, have went to QingDao and Guilin so far. Inner Mongolia next. It helps students to know each other more. Since there are loads of new students.
